Refunded payment by mistake

I use my paypal account to enjoy a little online gambling. I won through ladbrokes and asked to withdraw the funds to my paypal account. Once id recieved the funds in my paypal account instead of transfering them to my bank i sent the money back to ladbrokes through refund/cancelation so i could play again on the online casino. I realised my mistake as im new to this, and the funds wouldnt go to ladbrokes for a week or even if it would go to them at all . I informed paypal i wanted to cancel the refund back and i heard nothing else. ( this happedened on 31st may 2013)

Ive now had the exact amount that was in question taken from my bank account by Direct Debit with a reference on my bank statement it was this -

PAYPAL PAYMENT4EMJ2223PUTECDD

I always pay into paypal by faster payment so cant understand were this money has gone. Ive checked through my paypal history and this is the only thing that it relates to. In my history this is what it says about the mistaken refund -

If the status of the eCheque "Uncleared", you can cancel it as the transaction is still processing from the bank.  If you cancel an eCheque the funds will still be withdrawn from your bank account but will be credited to your PayPal account balance.

So the £800 that was taken from my BANK account by direct debit is the echeque and will be in my PAYPAL account within the 7 days? Is that correct

Hey i just recieved a refund to my account but for no reason? and on the refund email it says a full refund has been given but on the financial statement all categories are blank and no amount stated.

does anyone know what this is? maybe i wasn't supposed to receive a refund but an email came through with a blank statement..

    Hello!

I have sold an item! Buyer send me the payment, on an adress not registered for paypal! So I have asked him to cancel that transaction, because I was not sure I can claim them!

  I have managed to register in the end, and claim the money, but here comes the funny part, I have a refund issue for that transaction! Item was sent, registered!

  What can I do, what can the buyer do to clear this out! Does it affects any of us?

  I have sent my money in my banck account, and know I have a pending transaction!
