Hi I bought an Iphone from a person via PayPal and they tricked me into paying as a gift and as I am new to PayPal little did I know that PayPal could not refund the money back for me so I went to the bank asking for A reverse transaction as I did not recieve the product they said no only PayPal can help you. I don't know what to do. Should I contact the poilice? Plus when I called them they said that they hadn't recieved the payment and they were in an 'investigation' with them. Called PayPal and they said that the person has recieved it which means it cleary was a fraud and PayPal aren't helping at all.Help Anyone?
A "gift" is a present to someone and you don't ask for pressies back again hence you can't dispute the payment.
If you used a debit card with paypal then i would go back to the bank and again state that you wish them to do a chargeback for you which they can do as a goodwill gesture......or you will transfer your business elsewhere!!!
