Refund sent via echeque

Hi  all

I have purchased an item from a site.

I used paypal to pay for the item BUT it was never sent.

The account on the site has been closed down............(starting to flag up concerns)

I opened a case in paypal and refund was sent almost immediately.  This refund however was sent by echeque. 

My opinion is this echeque will fail to clear....will my funds be safe and refunded by paypal if the buyer does cancel the refund.  Secondly CAN  the seller cancel the refund by cancelling the echeque??

sellers can only EVER refund via funds in their paypal balance OR an echeque.

wait to see if it fails and then post back if paypal don't refund you.
