Refund on hold? Rubbish Customer service!

Was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and if they have a work about.

On the 1st of August I had some money taken out my paypal account which was a mistake, I called the company up who did this and they imidiatly refunded me the money. I then recieved an email from paypal saying this money is on hold and takes 3-5 days to return. Fair enough. on the 3rd of August after my paypal said $49.99 was taken out then $49.99 refunded I had this $49.99 taken out of my bank account (as I had 0 balance on my paypal) it is now the 12th of August and this money has still not been given to me. Ive called paypal up twice now and both times they PROMISED me it would come back tomorrow. This still isnt the case. Im reluctant to call a 3rd time as I 1. dont like talking to a robot for 10 mins and 2. I dont have time to wait in there 30min queues. I have also emailed 3 times now with no reply what so ever.

When you pay someone its never instant > paypal credit them for you and then paypal take the wait for the funds to transfer to paypal.......normally 3-5 business days.

HOWEVER even then they often don't start the withdrawal process immediately and the funds can leave your account at anytime from 2 hours up to 3 days later ...........AND THEN the 3-5 business days kicks in.

Normally this does not matter as your seller has been paid and your item is on the way BUT if the seller has refunded then its you that has to take the wait this time for the funds to clear to paypal > then they credit them back to you again.
