Hi, I have what may seem like a strange problem, Before Christmas I filed a complaint against someone for non-delivery as he was messing about trying to up the price of a yet (at the time) to be supplied website.
We came to an agreement about things which we were both happy with. I delayed cancelling the claim until technical problems were sorted out. I was under the impression from the last message i received from PP that they would contact me before proceding with a chargeback.
However this evening I have had a message from them stating that the money will be back in my account shortly.
I am wondering how I go about getting this decision reversed, can anyone advise me please? Hopefully without hours spent on the phone, as I (like many others) am expected to be working during business hours.
Thanks for any help.

You do realise this is not customer services do you?
We are volunteers giving up our own time to help on here.
And yes we equally have to work during business hours so sarcasm is not really warranted is it.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

My apologies Kernowlass, yes I am aware that most of the inhabitants of this board are volunteers. I am a member of ohter similar forums, so i know how they work,
My comment was not supposed to be sarcastic, was made out of frustration as it seems that unless a problem fits certain very narrow criteria then you are not allowed to contact PP by messaging. This of course tends to result in long and expensive calls which I am hoping can be avoided.
Many apologies.

2 options then >>
You can phone customer services and see if its not to late to cancel the claim. but make sure you are happy with everything as you won't be able to re-open one if the seller does not follow through.
>>
Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".
OR
just wait for the refund to process through to your bank account or card and then once ''cleared'' you can just re-pay the seller again.
