I've escaladed a case prematurely out of panic as I know I'm not going to receive my item and the seller is fraudulent. I then read the item needs to have not been received after 7 days and I dd this straight after sale. The amen as been aken from my account as there was no way of cancelling to payment even thou the seller never took it until 7 hours afte th order. Shoud I close th case and re log a new one after 7 days??

Hi Esxx,

Welcome to the Community Forum.

I would highly recommend that you do not close the claim, especially if you have concerns about receiving your  item. Once a claim is closed it cannot be reopened.

In this case the seller will be asked to either refund you or prove that he has sent you the item. If you receive what you order you can close the claim then and the seller will get his money but to stay protected please leave the case open for now.

I hope this helps.

Hi there Thankyou so much for your advise. I kept the case open , I have still not received my goods and although thevmerchant provided a what must be fake delivery number the didn't supply a courier so pay pal Gav taken action and are tryin to process my refund. A great service all found from pay pal and the community forum. Do you know where I can report this fake web site too? So others don't suffer th same fate. Thanks again
