My card is stolen and cancelled but paypal is asking for it's security code and has put a stop/restriction to my account
There is a big amount of money that I am due a refund for but it is currently on hold and as I cannot update the card details they are asking for, I cannot access my refund. What do I do?
When an account is limited you can be asked questions as a security measure.
If you are being asked for card details that you no longer hold you should see the option to enter an alternative like the bank details or your security questions.
If you are still experiencing difficulty with this I would recommend calling PayPal directly, they will then be able to manually verify your details and help you resolve the limitation.
