I lost 600 dollars with paypal :D

This story is very simple and i havent lost my hope at all (yet) at the beginning of this year. I list a collection of magic the gattering cards on a new ebay acount . i sold the collection for 600 dollars but right away after payment was done the buyer report my acount and paypal say that my acoubt was been cancelled and i have to wait 100 + days to get a mail telling me how to transfer my money . i was really mad but there was nothing to do . so . after like 3 weeks of me sending the collection to the buyer he claim on the resolution center he didnt get one of the cards in the whole collection (3,000+ cards) so gess what...paypal refound the money to him and he keep all the cards and the money because he says. He. Didnt get one card out of 3thousand cards and i know thats impossible . so at the end i lost my cards. 600 dollars 135 dollars shipping. The paypal and ebay acount . my bussines and my time and the worst thing is the feeling when you know you did everything right and you get your money stolen just because paypal dosent take the time to investigate something so simply . so i was wondering if anybody can tell me if there is a way to get that money somehow or just sue paypal (because im very willing to do it)

I am sorry to hear of your experience. Generally when a case is opened and your buyer states that they have not received all of their items or the item is significantly not as described they will be requested to return the item. Once they confirm with shipping information that the item has been returned we will then and only then issue them with a refund. Did you respond to requests for information on the case when asked? If not then the case may have timed out without your input and automatically went in your buyers favour.

My answer was and still is : i sent all the cards posted in the picures on ebay and i have proof of that . i get a msg telling me that they will be giving extra time for the cards to arrive but there was nothing to wait for and paypal make a refound to the buyer let him not send the cards back . so i want my money or my cards . the buyer never reply to my msgs asking him kindly to return my cards . how can i trust paypal again like this and how can paypal resolve this situation because paypal make a refound to the buyer before the buyer return my cards. Im very willing to take legal actions against paypal

Hi Cjfinca,

 

 

You should have an option to appeal the decision in the closed case section of the Resolution Centre. As you would normally only have 10 days to do so, it probably too late. In this case, you will need to send a request to the secure Message Centre on your account. Please mention in your request the dispute case reference number and the fact you have not received the items back.
