I have NOT received my money since January 17th.

I bought an item from eBay but the transaction failed and was unable to make more purchases. I asked the seller to fix the problem, and instead decided to refund the amount ($25.30). The amount reflected on my PayPal account but never appeared on my card. After doing some research, I learned that it could take days, even weeks. Today is 4th May, 2017. I still have not received my money.

 

I tried calling Paypal (an international call) and I was denied the call. They claimed that they don't recognize my number code or something. Am in Africa, so what code do they want? At the end of the day, I am spending time, money that can literally equal what I owe them.

 

I just want my money. Right now I fear buying using PayPal, because of this little incident. I can imagine if I madde a huge purchase.

 

Anyone please help me. Even if its $2, it still belongs to me. My account shows that its refunded to me. So where is my money?

It sounds like you could do with some specific help on this as your account would need to be reviewed to determine exactly what happened. You can contact us on Facebook.com/PayPalUK or Twitter @AskPayPal. 

 

From reading your post it does sounds like the funds were added back to your PayPal balance and not your card. If your refund was visible on your PayPal balance this would mean that your refund was added there and would not be going back to your card. Can you check over your transactions around this time to see if you may have received it on to your balance and used these funds to fund other transactions.

Hello,

There is no need for me to write about this if I already received the funds. As I said, the balance is still on my PayPal account but has NEVER found its way to my card. I can produce the statements for my bank account for verification if necessary. I will contact you via Twitter. I just need to know if it can be placed back on my card or stuck on your end?
