Charged a fee after cancelling payment

I attempted to pay for an item three times last week but due to problems at the seller's end I had to cancel. I finally received the money back today into my account after waiting five working days but Paypal appears to have charged me a £3 fee along the way. Is this standard practice or can I get the full amount back?

Welcome to the Community Forum. 

 

PayPal do not charge a fee for reversing a payment so you should receive the full amount. Maybe give customer service a call so they can look into this for you.
