Cannot cancel subscription. Please help!

Hey. A few months ago I had made a subscription to a service through paypal. Now that I am no longer in need of the services in question, and wish to cancel the automatic payment. When I had made the subscription, I did not have a paypal account. It just charged the money from my debit card directly. So figured I'd cancel it by clicking on the link sent in the transaction notification email with information on previous transactions. However, whenever I clicked this link I get a page that says "You must log in before you access this page." even though I didn't have a paypal account. So I made one using the same email, thinking it'd let me pass. Now when I click the link and log in, it just takes me to the home page. (Also to be noted I have checked my transaction history on my acount and there is nothing. I even went back to a month before I had made any transactions in the first place) I really could use some help. I also sent paypal an email about this. I have a feeling that they won't be very helpful.

Why don't you just contact the company you are paying and asking them to cancel your subscription.

According to him, he can't cancel it.
