Where is my refund?

I'm having a nightmare of a time getting my refund from ebay to actually appear in my paypal account. I received an email from ebay on Sept.9 telling me that my refund would appear in my account. The message said that if I didn't see it immediately, to wait a few minutes.  It's been over four days, and I STILL don't have my refund. I waited for 3.5 hours in the queue for the online ebay support, and they told me that they couldn't tell me whether or not the refund was actually sent and told me that I needed to contact paypal. How on earth do I contact paypal. I can't find a number anywhere, and it seems that no one else can find it either. The initial mail even had a transaction number, but when I click the link, I get a 'not in history'  message. So, my money is lost in the transaction void, and I'm not happy at all about it.

According the the original mail, it said the refund would enter my account in 'minutes'. According to the ebay site, refunds take three days. According to paypal, there is no record of a transaction. With the billions of dollars that paypal and ebay take in, the level of service is absolutely unacceptable. No one has an answer to my questions, and what I am told, emailed, or read online contradicts whatever information I've been given so far.

Has the question of how long a refund from ebay takes ever been answered?

The help center is a joke. It only gives me two options: Item Dispute, and Unauthorized Transaction, and neither of these are my problem.

i'm going through the same thing. i have been waiting on a refund from a company i ordered from for a month. it is not in my paypal account and my checking account was debited for the full purchase amount. the company i ordered from is showing they issued me a refund on 8/17. it looks like paypal put a temporary hold on it on 8/17 and then removed the hold on 8/18. it's 9/14 and still no money. i'm filed a dispute thinking it's the company's fault but it looks like it's paypal's fault as keep searching and looking at the transactions.  trying to find phone numbers and talking to a real person is impossible. i have been all over this site without no hope of finding a number.  good luck on your problem. i'm starting to think i'm out my partial refund of 30bucks.

Going through the same problem. E-bay said I Won that dispute said it was going to credit the amount. I go to my Pay Pal account it shows as a completed transaction but still no REFUND.

I too have been searching for a way to contact paypal. Its a total joke that even the contact us page has options to click, none of which apply to me even though one says cancelations/refund then takes to a page saying cancel transaction. I want my money put back in the bank instead of paypal using it on the stock market for upto 30 days!!!

I see the refunds have been given to paypal but they do not put them back in my bank nor do they show up in my paypal account. I only want paypal to put it back as fast as they take it from you. Paypal is becoming more of a joke with every transaction I make with them. Give our money back.
