Temporary Hold placed on my refund!!!!

So I'm guessing that the problem that I am having with getting my refund put back into my paypal account is happening to a lot of others!!!!! I purchased a pair of shoes from ebay on the 16th. On the 19th the seller contacted me and said that one of the shoes was damaged so she was going to refund the money. I told her to refund the money on the 19th, and she did. That's not the problem.....the problem is.....It is exactly 4 days till Christmas and I need to order another pair of shoes, but until paypal takes the temporary hold off of my refund I won't have the money to purchase another pair of shoes!!!!!!! If paypal can front the money to the seller in order to get them paid in a timely manner, then they should be able to front the money to me, so that I can order another pair of shoes!!!!! This is the first and last time I will ever attempt to purchase something as a Christmas gift over the internet using paypal!!!!!  This has been an awful experience!!!!!

I concur it is redicolus, first the hold the payment because it didn't come from my bank account yet the another hold was placed, saying a temporary hold was placed we will contact you with more information. Really the first part I understood, but the second I dun get. the is nutz.

It has been one week since I sent money to a friend, instantly from my bank account. It was refunded on the 12th and here it is the 18th and it is still on "temporary hold" by Paypal. $250 that I really need right now. This is ridiculous and unacceptable.

Same for me refunded on the 12th still in holding pattern, I'm not happy was assurred many times I would have it by now. I'm thinking of just cancelling my account and never using Ebay again or Paypal.

I have discovered that if I pay with a credit card and not do a bank transfer a refund goes back quicker to my account.

They have legally until 1300 tomorrow afternoon to return MY money. If nothing- I'm calling my lawyer who is a fraternity brother and will work for me for free. I'm not worried. SInce the Servers of my ISP are routed  to JEFFERSON COUNTY ALABAMA then back to my modem the legals go on in JEFF CO. BAD NEWS for PP>

That's so you won't be set up to xfer $$$ to your bank acct from PP. It's cheaper for them that way.

Im getting totally fed up with this whole paypal arrangement! I recieved an email stating that I would recieve my refund in 2 to 5 buissiness days it has now been 8 and I still havn't recieved my money, they took my case down like it was all solved but they left out the part where I get my money back. I will never use them again unless they make more of an effort to make this right.

I am having the same problem it's irritating, they dropped my case like it was solved also but the return of my money is of no problem to them.
