Waiting for approval?

I have a student account - recently, I received payment from someone (not my parent), and the status of the payment is listed as:  "Waiting for approval." 

Could someone please clarify as to what this means?   🙂

That's a new one on me - maybe one of the other advisors knows.

If you don't get an answer, phone Paypal and ask them - their number comes up when you click on 'contact us'.

errr - does the "waiting for approval" look like a link or is there a button in the same line that says "approve".?
