Search by Unique Transaction ID?

I have a customer saying he sent me money, but I don't think I have received it. He has provided me with the date of the transaction, and the Unique Transaction ID. Is there a way I can search by Unique Transaction ID to be sure I didn't receive it. I only have one payment received on the day he says he sent it, and its not his. If I did not receive it, what is the problem? Is he just lying?

Could be.

He or you might also have mis-spelled the paypal address for your account - that's common enough.

I'd also search through the transactions for a few days after the date to be sure.

And make sure you're working from the page that shows all of your transactions - the default is only for 7 days.
