PayPal Invoices Not Being Received

Hello,

I wish to implement invoicing on a web site that we are about to launch.

Basically, the customer fills out an online form for the products and it is then emailed to us.

After we receieve the order form, we would then calculate shipping costs for the items and then send them an invoice from PayPal to pay for the products.

The order form I have designed works perfectly, but when I go to invoice someone is when I have problems.

I have twice sent test invoices from PayPal to one of my email addresses and have not received either one of them. Each time I send one, PayPal says the invoices were sent successfully.

The email address that I send to has the spam filters turned off and nothing ever goes into the spam/trash box.

Has anyone had this problem before?

And what was the fix?

Thank You in advance.

Best Regards,

Brian

I'm just no getting back in to this thread.

I'd appreciate (actually I think we all would appreciate) some sort of follow-up with regard to any headway made to resolve this issue.

And, with due respect, the statement "...our technicians are aware of this issue..." was sort of infuriating ---  if your technicians were "aware" of the issue, I would have expected some sort of notification within the system - something to the effect that "Here is an issue that may effect your billing (cash flow, business, relationship with your customers) -- here's a suggested work-around -- we're working on the issue and we'll keep you apprised..."

That would be a good example of excellent customer service, transparency, and up-front communication -- I would have a great deal of respect for that approach, as I think any reasonable business person would. But the, "let's hope they don't notice until we fix it" approach doesn't bode well for your brand.

I know many times a "developer mindset" is just "fix the problem and move on" but you do have customers who depend on you and "communicating while fixing the problem" is the better approach.

Someone (marketing, customer service, whomever) has to take a larger view of how these issues effect small businesses.

Not trying to rake you over the coals personally -- But just sayin'  Smiley Wink

My client received one invoice just fine earlier this week.  However, I sent a second one on Wednesday along with two reminders today.  She didn't receive any of them.  They aren't in her spam folder.  She doesn't have a second email address to try.

Dear PayPal, what should I do?

Paypals invoices are still being marked as spam meaning Paypal still has not corrected their email header. My customers come from my website and submit their email address for me to send them information along with a pay now button. This means I do not have a email address for each customer prior to them submitting the request from my website. This also means the first email they recieve from me through Paypal is marked as spam with a warning it may be dangerous to open the email!

My email address is shown on the invoice so that's not the issue. I see Google has a buy now button for emails and was wondering if anyone has tried Google's system?

Paypal is killing my business

I am having this same problem. It looks like this thread died in July of this year, but it is December and I am having multiple customers who are saying they did not get the invoices. Has anyone gotten solutions to this problem?

May as well add my name/complaint to the pile!...I'm experiencing EXACTLY the same issues that all of the above posts list...initial email invoice not going through, but the reminder goes through immediately.  Comeon, PayPal techies...this can't be that hard to resolve, can it?!!
