I made a sale on ebay about 2 weeks ago. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to claim the money from paypal and put it into my bank account. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how to do this? I would really appreciate it if I could get help in this matter.
Thank you,
Crazywoman

If the money is still pending, they can hold it for up to 21 days. This is a fairly new policy and I have no idea who came up with it. It makes no sense and there must be some legal precedent against this.

I'm having this exact same problem. I'm new to selling things but my items sold, I sent an invoice, I clicked "claim payment". My e-mail address is linked and confirmed and my listing was under the right e-mail address. However, my paypal account still says $0. I don't know what to do!!!! I refuse to ship anything before I receive payment.

Well from what I understand is that PayPal holds your money (transaction complete or not) until the buyer is satified with the transaction. Meaning if they get your item and decide they dont like it they can basically hold your item ransom, and you cant get the money, until you please them.
I sold a PS3 on E-Bay and sent Tracking Numbers etc. Was told I need to wait until the Buyer Receives it and is satisfied with it before they will release my money to me. So in other words when the Buyer receives it they get to use it and "test" it out before they decide if they want it. If they dont want it then they say they dont like it and they ship it back to me and PayPal gives them back the money.
Quite a joke if you ask me.

THIS IS HORRIBLE. HOLD FUNDS UP TO 21 DAYS!!!!! IF THIS IS THE CASE THEN THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOME VERY, VERY UPSET PEOPLE. AND THEN PAYPAL EXPECTS US TO SHIP THE ITEM WITHOUT PAYMENT. RIIIIIIGHT!!!! THIS IS THE SAME THING AS IF YOU PURCHASED AN ITEM VIA THE INTERNET FROM A LARGE RETAILER, AS A CONSUMER YOU HAVE TO REMIT PAYMENT ON THE SPOT AND THEY WONT SHIP TELL ITS PAID. WHY WOULD WE DO ANY DIFFERENT? IF ITS NOT BROKE THEN WHY TRY TO FIX IT! NOW YOU BROKE IT ON PURPOSE! PAYPAL, YOU NEED TO FIX THIS !!!
