Funds Are on the Way!

i just received a message sayin:

''Funds Are on the Way!

Hello,

You have just been sent a payment by eCheck. You will receive the money in about 5-7 business days (estimated: 11/03/2011-15/03/2011). We recommend that you wait until the money arrives before shipping items. We'll email you when this eCheck payment has been deposited into your account.''

Is that normal to receive any money in your bank account  after 5-7 days? or does it have to do with the payment that its ''eCheck'' ??

its my first transaction as a money receiver i am usually the one sending money so i dont know.

kkosa- Your hunch is correct. The reason it takes 5-7 business days is due to the echeck. Anytime there's an echeck involved, there will be this delay.  But this should be the only payment method that has that delay; sometimes we may hold the payment, but you'll still be able to see it in a pending balance.
