Buyer confirmed receiving item, how do I get held payment?

Ok so... I am a complete newbie at ebay selling so when my item sold and I recieved the payment, I immediately took the item downtown and shipped it. SINCE I'm new I did not input the tracking number or whatever into ebay. I waited about five days until I asked the buyer if he had received the item, and he said head two days ago.

So now my question is... how do I remove the hold from my funds? I realize I'm probably **bleep**ed since I didn't have the tracking number, but I do have the email from the buyer saying he recieved the shipment.

All in all this whole mess just **bleep**.

Do you HAVE a tracking number?  'Whatever' isn't going to do the trick.

If you have a tracking number, enter it into your ebay selling details page ( just near the bottom where it says "Item shipped".

In 3-4 days, Paypal should release the hold.

No I don't have it. Didn't even know I needed it. But I mean, I asked the guy is he received it and he said he'd gotten it on Monday.
