I recently sold my digital game account and they put the money into my paypal account and then i gave them my game account info, then put it into my bank. A few hours later I get an email saying the bank reversed my payment and the person started a claim? Are they trying to take the money back for my account and keep the account for free? I'm a first time user to paypal and this is really making me nervous..
I hope not.. because i just did the same thing. I told the person that she had to wait until the money is in my bank account; which displeased her. But reading what you wrote, I am not sure that that is even enough.
Now I am not sure what to do... can you let me know how your situation worked out?
hey there, I did indeed get scammed, what happend was i gave them the account info they put the money on my paypal and as soon as they changed my game account info they reversed the money, so what you did was smart, make sure you get your money before you give out any account info...thanks for responding
Well, I didnt make out much better than you did... This morning I got an email from paypal saying it was an unauthorized transaction and they stopped the transfer to my bank account.. Only difference is that I never turned over the account information.. Although I did remove my friends, told everyone goodbye and left my guild... Sigh...
