No email confirmation for payement

Hi
a client has paid me through Paypal, took my email address .. they've received a confirmation .but I've received no email confirmation let alone payement gone through, into account.
shouldnt a message appear in my email inbox at least within a couple of hours?
whats the normal please?

Hi, yes you should receive a confirmation email. If not please contact the Customer Service so that they can eventually open a request to double check that.
