Customer gets instrument declined error every time

Hello,

 

I integrated PayPal API a few days ago on a website, but a customer contacted me because he has an error each time he tries to pay on my website.

By looking at the logs, I got the error INSTRUMENT_DECLINED : "The instrument presented was either declined by the processor or bank, or it can't be used for this payment."

 

On my side, I don't have any problem when I pay on my website, and I already received many payments, so it does not seem to be a problem with my server or my integration.

But on his side, he told me that he uses the same PayPal account and the same credit card every day on other websites, and he has no problem neither. The INSTRUMENT_DECLINED error arises only when he tries to pay on my website.

He also told me that he doesn't see any error on his PayPal account and on his bank account mentioning a refused payment.

 

Do you know what can I do to identify and to fix the problem ?
