Are we able to connect a second web site to our Bank Account using the same API credentials?

We have a web site that is successfully using Advanced Checkout to connect to our Business PayPal account via the API.

We are developing a second web site and we would like to connect it to the same Pay Pal account.  Am I able to use the same live API credentials to connect to it?

I've already tried to connect the second site to our bank account using the live API credentials but when I click on the 'Pay Now' button I can see that it is trying to connect to sandbox.paypal.com/checkoutnow/....

Thanks,

Andy

Good day @sensibleandy

Thank you for posting to the PayPal community.

Merchants can use the same API credentials on multiple websites. Please ensure that your internal website code is thoroughly checked to confirm that you are hitting the live endpoints from the second website using the appropriate live API credentials.

I would like to emphasize the significance of correctly utilizing the API credentials. Please note that your LIVE account API credentials can only be used within your LIVE environment, while your sandbox account API credentials should only be used within your sandbox environment. It is important to understand that these credentials cannot be interchanged between the two environments.

To help you with the integration process, please find below the link for the sandbox integration URL: https://developer.paypal.com/tools/sandbox/accounts/.

Additionally, I would like to provide you with the link for the Live account integration URL:

https://developer.paypal.com/docs/multiparty/create-account/.

If you still facing the issue, please create an MTS ticket via - https://www.paypal-support.com/s/?language=en_US  with the detailed information and error details.

Sincerely,

Vaishnavi
