temporary move to France - Using Paypal as a Bank there

Hello,

My son is moving to France soon, can he use a Paypal card there for he's daily needs?

What kind of cards would be best Debit or Prepaid?

What are the fees?

Hi ET-US-Fr,

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting. 

If your son wishes to use PayPal services while he is in France, he will need to open a French PayPal account. You will find more information on the services offered by PayPal France here https://www.paypal.com/webapps/mpp/home . I would not recommend travelling with a PayPal card as it can only be used in the country in which is was issued.
