It’s been very long now so I just gave up. It’s absolutely ridiculous that they can’t fix this issue…I just use Klarna now 🤷🏻‍♀️. At least they appreciate their customers.

I’ve been having the same issue. Customer service keeps telling me it’s due to maintenance and to try again in a few hours (it’s been hundreds of hours at this point).

Something I would do but that option rejects a lot of people. I don't know anyone who got accepted to use it.

That's what happened to me as well. When I went to pay in for the amount didn't match what it should be, so I kept going back to the merchant page, and back to PayPal back and forth. So they froze my ability to use pay in four. Honestly, I'm not going to reinstate it just yet, it keeps me from overspending.

Did it ever came back??? It happened to me just now. I was trying to link another card but it wouldn’t show up for me to choose the card I wanted to used and then next thing you know the pay in 4 option just disappeared.

I had the exact same thing, after over 50 purchases and NOT 1 late payment, I cancelled an order and Poof! never again have I seen pay in 4….  I called customer service and had that person eventually transfer to a supervisor (Both hate customers) and they kept telling me it depends on the site and the automated system.  I was literally trying to buy digital content from the same site I used 25 times already but now all of a sudden I don’t have pay in 4 , they said I should there’s nothing blocking it, I told them my Fathers account will let him make the exact same purchase with pay in 4 but mine will not, they said “the system is automated and it determines if the purchase is eligible or not”. So after 50+ purchases and 0 late payments, now I am ineligible, even though there system says I am eligible and there’s nothing blocking it…. I tried to explain they have a problem with their algorithm when someone cancels a pay in 4 transaction, and from the supervisor “ Their is NOBODY that takes care of that department”. PayPal according to her is operated by Artificial Intelligence….  I hate PayPal now, this service was the only reason I started using them again after 15 years, and in 3 months I spent Thousands and NEVER HAD A LATE PAYMENT, I don’t get to use this very useful service….  Their Customer Service rating is (0 to 10)  Negative 9!!!

I keep having the same issue. I’ve been using it for awhile never later usually pay off before deadline. Used it a few times with a shop but now no longer available. Called they said, the same exact thing no restrictions blah blah…..then I thought maybe it was the amount of purchase and then I received an invoice for $23 and it popped up. So frustrating. One minute it’s available and the next, it’s not. I buy on IG live shows from shops and then look silly when I have to cancel bc this time it doesn’t work. Then I also miss out on purchases bc I don’t risk it.
