How do I set up an automatic weekly payment to someone?

I am trying to set up an automatic weekly payment to somebody and have not found the way to do it.

I see you're looking to set up automatic payments with the customer. The Subscriptions option allows you to create a recurring payment with PayPal updated checkout. Sorry, no, it is the other way. I am not trying to set up automatic payments from someone else to me, but from me to somebody else. Is that possible?

Thank you for joining the Community! You're absolutely correct. @PayPal_Bindu provided instructions for a merchant or seller to set up a subscription. Apologies!

It is not possible for a sender to initiate a recurring payment through their account. A merchant or seller must provide the option to you on their website, and the recurring payment can be initiated there.
