Does PayPal freeze your PayPal digital line of credit if your regular PayPal balance is negative?

My line of credit isn’t showing as a payment option at Priceline like it used to and my PayPal account went negative this week around the same time I was trying to book through Priceline. Does Priceline not take PayPal credit anymore, or can I not use my PayPal credit line until my negative account is resolved?

Welcome! Thank you for visiting PayPal's Community Forum, this is a great question. If you have a negative balance with PayPal, you would normally be asked to resolve that negative balance with the following transaction or before the following transaction can be completed. Since you're unable to add funds to your PayPal account from your PayPal Credit account, you most likely would not be able to use your PayPal Credit line through your PayPal account until your negative balance would be resolved.

I resolved my negative balance and my line of credit appeared again as a payment option when checking out with merchants through PayPal. So, I gather you are unable to use your line of credit until the negative balance of your regular papal account is brought out of negative.
