Why do I have a transaction that says "Authorization Pending for Pay In 4"

Hey! I'm curious why there is a pay in 4 pending authorization payment in my history. I was going to pay in 4 with paypal for an item, but after, i decided not to purchase the item. After, i instantly saw a pay in 4 in my history. It says that it's "pending authorization" at the moment. Will this transaction be voided?

Yes, it’ll eventually time out and drop off, if you did not complete payment.
