Something is wrong with the iOS app; the activity screen is not showing up when I open the app. There is no activity button to tap, even if switch to another screen.

I am sorry to hear this. I would suggest you download the latest update of the app in your app store. If you already have the latest update, please try deleting and redownloading the app. This should reset any possible glitches.
