Pre-authorisation payment disappeared from activity after taking $180

A pre-authorisation pending payment has disappeared from my activity after taking $180. It's been 4 days. The only trace is a charge from my bank.

Hi @Levir97,

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post. 

When you attempt to make a payment, the amount can be temporarily charged to your bank/card. This is an authorization charge. 
 

As the charge does not show on your PayPal account, the temporary charge will be removed from your bank within 72 hours. This is normal practice for online payments, so no need to be worried if this happens again.
