Paypal card reader fault.

I have just bought a second hand Paypal card reader. I charged it for a day and turned it on . It read that there was a damaged to the reader detected. Contact Paypal. What do I do now. ???

Welcome to the PayPal Community! I'm sorry to hear you've run into some issues with a second-hand PayPal reader. If the card reader was PayPal Here reader, it will no longer work on PayPal after April 3, 2023, so our support teams would recommend purchasing a Zettle card reader directly from PayPal. If it was a Zettle card reader, you may need to order a new one since it was purchased second-hand, or reach out to the person you bought it from to see if they're willing to provide a refund.
