Paypal Pay in 4 temp hold. How to release?

I just did a paypal pay in 4 transaction but before i finished it i had to go back and enter a cupon code i forgot. Then i finished my transaction for a lesser amount. Now i have 2 charges/holds on my bank account. 1 for the original amount and 1 for the lesser amount. How can i cancel the transaction with the original amount and release the hold?

Let your bank know the pending funds won't be required for the pending payment you no longer need.

Or are both transactions showing on your paypal account as well?

It's on my PayPal and my Bank account. But I just saw something after a long search. It says that the temporary hold will be released after 72hrs automatically if the transaction isn't finished.
