Hi,
Say I have bought something for £100 on a 4-month interest free promotion. Then the next day I buy something for £30 on standard credit. If I make a repayment of £30 after 2 weeks, will that clear my debt obligation for the £30 transaction? Or, will it first pay off £30 of my debt from the first transaction of £100? If the latter, this renders the promotional interest rate (4 months to pay it off) somewhat pointless, as I would need to pay off the entire £100 first in order to then pay off the £30 to avoid incurring interest debt after the first statement following purchase.
Thanks

Thanks for your reply, @testminister88. For more information, please take a look at https://www.paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/paypal-virtual-credit/faq. I'm sorry the first page wasn't sufficient, but I believe this page will provide a better explanation.
If this additional link doesn't include the information you need, scroll to the bottom of the page, click Contact and the select the topic that best fits your concern. Due to financial industry regulations, PayPal Credit's Customer Service is separate from PayPal's regular Customer Service, and contacting PayPal Credit directly is the best option at that point.
Thanks for your patience during this time.
Sincerely,
Michael

Hi Michael,
Thanks for replying. That information is very useful in general, but I couldn't find an answer to my question on those pages. Is there an example which shows how repayments are used to pay off existing debts?
Many thanks
