I made an offer to someone on eBay and they accepted the offer. It went through with PayPal as though I agreed to pay for the item. That is fine. The issue is that in the end the payment got returned because I had an old card on file as the preferred payment method. Now there is no trace of the money even being requested. Thankfully eBay had account of it and sent me to PayPal which then told me they couldn't even find any record of the transaction or even the item number. Is this common of an account that turns down an item over NSF on the preferred card on the account?
