Need to know about having money from Remitly transferring money to my Pay Pal balance account. Is my bank account info safe to the person who is transferring money from Remitly. Do I need a Remitly account to receive the transferred from Remitly.

When you receive a payment the funds will be added to your PayPal account balance, and depending on your country of registration, you can manually withdraw the funds into your bank account. An email notification will be sent to you advising you of the payment, and it will contain a unique transaction ID. This transaction ID is also visible in your PayPal account activity.
