paypal payment in limbo

I've sold an item on ebay and the seller has paid via paypal.

This particular ebay lot had the wrong paypal email address which no longer exists. So the payment is now in limbo.

Moving forwards, I now know how to prevent this happening again but how do I claim this payment? Does anyone know what is the correct procedure?
