my money not registrating in my paypal balance after being claimed.

I have recently received a payment from one of my family members through paypal. it was sent to my phone number. I have claimed the money but it is not registering in my paypal wallet. what should I do? my family even has the receipt of the money that was sent. is there a solution? is my money gone?
