my account / recommended help / selling items and not getting the money

im having a struggle with paypal i have sold items on Depop and they told to verify my account which I'm pretty sure I have but every time I go on help u always have a recommended thing to do but I do everything on their (verifying my email)etc. I'm trying to sort this out as I having received the money and it doesn't say that it is pending or anything. please help me asap

If the email is non existant and doesn't belong to anyone then it should show as unclaimed with a cancel option on the BUYERS side, if so tell them to cancel.

If it says completed or payment or unclaimed withOUT a cancel option then post back for other options.

Paypal is 'country specific' so advice often depends on what country you are in. As you have not added your country to your community profile or said in your post then we can't help at the moment.

Have you checked the email address you supplied to your buyers and made sure that there were no spelling errors etc?

my email was spelt wrong originally but since then I changed it but I don't know if it was wrong when the buyer bought the item

actually I stand correct the wrong email was still in place when the buy purchased the item  but the email doesn't and will never exist but so I'm guessing I have to see if I can try and retrieve the money so it goes to my current email?

so because I have now changed my email and he is allowed to cancel the payments, if he was to then purchase them again it would be sorted and work fine?

If he can cancel then he can pay you again.

I don't know how it works on depop but if its like ebay then do not go through checkout or it will be the same wrong email address.

He would need for you to send a money request or invoice via the correct email address to pay.
