just need help removing old checking account from my profile. There is a current pending transaction with the old bank account and PayPal system not allowing me to delete the old account. I've updated my account with a credit card. how do I get the pending transaction to process with the new card?
Hi there, It's good that you reached out to us regarding this matter. There are several reasons why you can't remove your bank account yet. It could be that there are Billing Agreements assigned to be paid using that particular account or there was a pending transaction that is not cleared yet. If this is the case you will not be allowed yet to remove it. Hope this helps.
Hello. Thanks for the reply. Yes I got that part about not being able to delete due to pending transaction. Problem is that . The pending transaction is with a Old CLOSED Checking account. How is it going to process if the account is closed?
I hope you are doing well. If you have a back up funding source (credit /debit card)added to your PayPal account, we will process the payment using your back up funding source . Once the payment is completed, you can now remove that old bank account.
