I had a pre-approved payment which I did not approve of get taken from my bank. It was pending at the time until I went to the resolution center and filed a complaint. It is under review but the payment went from pending to canceled but a day later, the money was taken out of my Chase account but in Chase it says process pending for the payment.
Processing payments can't do a u-turn once cancelled, so it still goes to your paypal account but if cancelled is credited to your paypal balance OR sent back to your bank account (if you used a debit card).
