Venmo and paypal

I am wondering if I have money in my venmo account and I am on eBay and wanna purchase something but they don’t have a option for Venmo how can I purchase it which PayPal through Venmo?

I am not sure if this works with eBay as it depends on how eBay integrates PayPal Checkout into their system because according to the Venmo documentation at PayPal, Venmo are built into the PayPal checkout integration.

Then you have to opt in for the ability to pay with Venmo in your Venmo app.

How can I opt in?

To opt in and purchase with Venmo, tap on the ☰ icon at the top of the app, then tap on Settings. In Settings, there’s the Buying section. To use Venmo to pay during checkout, tap Enable Mobile Web Purchase or Connect Browsers.

After that, when you checkout on eBay and select PayPal Checkout button, log in to your PayPal account...YOU MIGHT be given the option to pay with Venmo. Again, this depends on how eBay has PayPal Checkout integrated at their website. Therefore, if you do not see an option to pay with Venmo during the PayPal checkout process, then its not possible.

As the images demonstrate, you first see the paypal checkout option, then you see option for PayPal or Venmo. If you do not see this then, its not possible to pay with Venmo at eBay.
