When I follow the link on Paypal to make a payment to a bank account I am taken to Xoom.
I enter all the details for the transaction and on the payment page there is no option to pay from my Paypal balance (only from debit or credit cards).
The whole point of following the link was to pay from my Paypal balance!!!
This is infuriating. I did exactly the same process weeks ago and the drop-down tab allowed me to select my Paypal balance as the source for the transaction. It is bad enough that I am sent to a separate website to make the transaction but now I have retried this 3x and wasted my time and Paypal customer service phone line says "not available".
