They took all the money left in my account!

I had recently made a purchase for around $20 and my account had more than enough, just over $26 however when I made the purchase I was not left with my expected $6 and instead there was no money left on my account at all. Where did it go and why was it taken, and is it possible to get it back?

Could it be because of the currency conversion? Look at the the transaction details by clicking the transaction itself.
