Refund

I sold an item on eBay and the buyers sending it back. I’m trying to refund the payment but the money is on hold as it’s my first time using PayPal. How do I send the money back to the buyer as they’ve already sent it

You can't refund held payments, also there would not be enough in your paypal balance anyway for a full refund if that is the only funds in there.

That is because paypal no longer return the fee you were charged when the buyer paid as part of any refund.

You should still be able to refund selecting your linked and confirmed bank account (not a debit card).
