I bought something but then canceled it. It charged my card (I linked my card to Paypal) and the payment says "Pending". I emailed Paypal and they send it shouldn't get charged but I got charged. I bought something from Gamestop then canceled it. I confirmed with Gamestop that I canceled it. What's going on?
When you pay a company (rather than an ebay seller or individual), then it is often pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment. If they don't process that order and capture the pending payment as you have now cancelled the order then the pending status times out at 30 days post-payment.
