My friend sent me money via PayPal. I then refunded it to him, he still has not got the money back. How long does it usually take ?

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The sender issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. Your friend funded the payment to you using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit you the funds. Then if you refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
