Refund pending, friends and family, why haven't I received it yet after 5 days?

Someone is refunding me via Friends and Family. After 5 days it is still pending, what are the chances of me ever getting this money? Can she cancel it and **bleep** me? What if she doesn't have the funds? Thanks for any help.

Friends/family payments from a bank account are normally sent as echeques, take 5-7 business days to clear.
