Refund after declined transaction

Tried to use PayPal for purchasing Calzedonia items by splitting the amount into 3 monthly instalments and got an email from PayPal that the payment plan was declined. Then I purchased the same things again via PayPal paying the whole amount this time £64 and it went through (used my bank acc money) - Order confirmation received as well as tracking info. However, from my first attempt I also got charged for £21 something (1st instalment amount) and cannot cancel the transaction by the app. Is this to be automatically credited back to me or should I report the issue to PayPal so I make sure I don't get overcharged for my purchase? Allow me to explain I did not get any confirmation from the seller (Calzedonia) for this first purchase attempt and now I am somewhat confused as I can see both amounts pending to be changed to my bank (£64 + £21). Any advice please?
