Recieved the refund before the charge appear in my account

Basically bought a item that was marked as "in stock" on the website, they emailed me the next day telling me it was sold out and if I wanted a refund, took the refund. Refund showed up before I could get charged. After waiting for the refund completion date and messaging support told me to wait 3-5 days to show up. Still hasn't shown up, has this happen to anyone before? Had other refunds in the past and never had to go through the process shown and it usually came within 2 daysRefund.PNGGot refund before the chargeGot refund before the charge

Pending refunds can only happen for two reasons.

1. The seller has issued a refund from their bank account which takes time to process.

2. You funded the payment to the seller using bank transfer. What PayPal do here is credit the recipient on your behalf (so there is no delay in despatching your item). Then if you receive a refund in the meantime they are unable to issue this until the original bank transfer completes.
