Questionable buisness transaction

I am trying to receive money for a parcel i have sent out, i have been emailed that the 300 that i have been payed for exceeds my account limit

"We encounter little problem while crediting your PayPal Account. You have a pending payment of $300.00 USD but we have a problem crediting your account with that amount because the status of your PayPal Account is not a business user which makes your account has limit and this amount seems to be above your limit, this will not make us credit your account until you expand your limit." is this a legit thing that happens, and he apparently sent me an additional 700 to make my acount a buisness acount, and now wants me to secure him an additional 700 USD in bitcoin as to confirm the transaction, and to boot he said that they would accept steam gift cards as acceptable payment. Another thing is the transaction ID doesnt lead to a page, so i doubt this is legit, Thoughts?

Its a scam so hopefully you haven't shipped the product.

The email has grammar and terminology issues:

Business or Personal PayPal account is not a "status", more of an "account type", or "We encounter little problem while crediting your PayPal Account.",  are examples.

The scam is to get you to send $700 in bitcoin which PayPal NEVER does without paying you for your order. If someone REALLY paid, you should see a record of payment fairly instantly, EVEN IF PayPal puts a hold on the funds.

Real buyers generally do not want to pay more/extra. They pay exactly what you are asking. They barely want to pay shipping.

Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂

well thanks, i knew this pretty much had to be a scam, but i just wanted to be sure, me never having used paypal for anything other than small sub subscription services and not any big order, oh well. The parcel has been sent, but it should be able to get turned around since it was only sent this afternoon. thanks for your advice
